Job Description

We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual seeking to gain insight and practical experience in the hands-on development of software for consumer and assistive technology products.  Responsibilities will include:

  • Design and development of Windows applications
  • Design and development of Android applications
  • Assisting with the design and development of Web applications
  • Assisting with documentation related to software requirements, design and validation

Qualifications

The following are highly desirable:

  • Programming languages: C, C#, Javascript, Java for Android, PHP and .net framework
  • Databases: MS Access, SQL
  • Other skills: Python, PowerBI, Tableau, AWS, Azure, Bluetooth interface driver over Android, USB interface driver over Android
  • Development platforms and tools: WordPress, React.Js, Node.Js, D3.js, Highcharts
  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and interpersonal

Job Description

We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual seeking to gain insight and practical experience in the marketing functions of a technology company.  Responsibilities will include market research on new product concepts for people with physical disabilities, and working with the marketing team on improvement of marketing campaigns and materials for existing products.  Specific projects may include the following:

  • Assist in the identification of competitive products and preparation of competitive analyses
  • Assist in collection and analysis of market statistics
  • Review and update of marketing website and social media sites
  • Review and update of contact list
  • Assist with developing marketing strategies and creation of marketing materials
  • Assist in execution of outreach efforts to professional staff and practitioners in the rehabilitation fields
  • Assist with and perform other duties as needed or assigned by the marketing director

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and interpersonal
  • Good research and internet skills
  • Ability to do small-scale changes to web pages
