Job Description
We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual seeking to gain insight and practical experience in the marketing functions of a technology company. Responsibilities will include market research on new product concepts for people with physical disabilities, and working with the marketing team on improvement of marketing campaigns and materials for existing products. Specific projects may include the following:
- Assist in the identification of competitive products and preparation of competitive analyses
- Assist in collection and analysis of market statistics
- Review and update of marketing website and social media sites
- Review and update of contact list
- Assist with developing marketing strategies and creation of marketing materials
- Assist in execution of outreach efforts to professional staff and practitioners in the rehabilitation fields
- Assist with and perform other duties as needed or assigned by the marketing director
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and interpersonal
- Good research and internet skills
- Ability to do small-scale changes to web pages
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Creativity, high degree of initiative and motivation, flexibility
- It is highly desirable to have previous marketing and copywriting experience
